CEC Featured in OAT Enrichment Case Studies

Cowes Enterprise College are incredibly proud to have been featured as an example of good practice in Ormiston Academies Trust’s ‘Keeping Enrichment Alive: Our learnings from lockdown’ case studies booklet.

With the school closures in March, staff at Cowes Enterprise College wanted to provide some extracurricular projects that also promoted positive mental health with students.

Teacher of English Kelly Daniel coordinated the creation of a series of eBooks, “Flights of Fancy”. The eBooks contained writing from a diverse mixture of students and were shared across our own social media profiles and by local media organisations.

This activity shows that imagination is unstoppable and can provide students with a voice in a time where normal day to day life is restricted.
