Exemplar Work
How are our students using the knowledge they learn to apply it to real-world projects and scenarios.
One of the highlights of our year is our students presenting their Extended Project Qualification (EPQ) research. This year, sixth form students delivered confident presentations and hosted interactive displays, sharing the findings of their independent research projects across an extraordinary range of topics. From Cleopatra and Formula 1 to masculinity, autism and artificial intelligence, the projects highlight both the breadth of interests and the academic ambition of Cowes Sixth Form students.
The EPQ, which is a nationally recognised qualification designed to develop critical thinking, independent study and advanced research skills, gives students the freedom to explore subjects they are truly passionate about, while developing valuable research, presentation and independent learning skills that prepare them exceptionally well for university and future careers.
