Remote learning support

At Cowes Enterprise College, we believe that the most effective learning happens in the classroom, so remote education is not part of our routine offer. However, in the rare event that students are unable to attend due to exceptional circumstances, we have systems in place to ensure learning continues.

If you have questions about remote education, please don’t hesitate to get in touch with us directly.

All students have access to Satchel One, our online platform for independent study. During any short-term closure, tasks will be shared via Satchel One to support ongoing learning.

  • Live online lessons will take place using Microsoft Teams. These include Do Now tasks, quizzes, opinion polls, exam practice questions, video, simulations etc
  • Independent study will be set on Satchel One in line with student timetables. This may then direct to another website or online platform.
  • Students with limited IT access can request paper packs/workbooks which can be collected from the academy by arrangement.
