Drama and Film Studies

Using the script as our foundation, students will gain a practical and written understanding of how drama can create meaning for an audience. The curriculum focuses on building skills to help improve individual performances, and the use of dramatic techniques to help bring a performance from page to stage.

Students use their knowledge to help them to create their own devised performances from a range of stimuli. We focus upon a number of well known texts from a number of time periods to explore a wide variety of life experiences.
