Duke of Edinburgh Presentation Evening
On Tuesday evening, our four Silver and three Gold Duke of Edinburgh’s Award expedition groups came together to share their experiences at our Duke of Edinburgh Presentation Evening.
The students delivered their expedition presentations to an audience of more than 50 students, parents, families and staff, sharing stories, challenges and highlights from their journeys.
The students presented with confidence and honesty, reflecting on their experiences and the challenges they had overcome along the way. Their presentations provided an insight into the resilience, determination and personal growth demonstrated throughout their expeditions.
Head of School, Ruth Griffiths-Nash, said:
“I thoroughly enjoyed the Duke of Edinburgh Presentation Evening and felt immensely proud of all the students who took part. The evening was truly inspiring and highlighted what a fantastic programme the Duke of Edinburgh Award is for enriching the lives of our students at CEC.
“It was a pleasure to welcome so many families into the school, and the sense of pride shared by students, parents and staff was evident throughout the evening. Despite some understandable nerves, the students presented brilliantly. Their honesty, confidence and reflections on their experiences were a credit to them all.
“The evening served as a powerful reminder of the resilience, determination and personal growth that our students demonstrate.”
We would like to congratulate all of our Silver and Gold students on their achievements and thank them for sharing their experiences with us. Their presentations were a wonderful celebration of the hard work, perseverance and personal development that are such an important part of the Duke of Edinburgh’s Award.
