Magical Day at Harry Potter Studio Tour for CEC Students
On Friday 22nd September, Cowes Enterprise College students studying Film Studies and Textiles embarked on an enchanting adventure at the Harry Potter Studio Tour near Watford.
The day commenced with an immersive lesson by the studio’s education team, where students delved into the intricacies of camera angles and shots. They discovered how these cinematic techniques are harnessed to create specific effects on the audience within films.
This enchanting experience took our students behind the scenes, allowing them to explore authentic costumes, props, white card models, costume mood boards, and unveil some of the enchanting secrets behind the Harry Potter films.
The real magic of the day unfolded as our students embarked on the studio tour, where they learned about the extraordinary creative work that brought the captivating world of Harry Potter to life.
The tour’s location, situated next to Warner Brothers Leavesden film studios, where numerous box office hits, including the year’s blockbuster Barbie, have been brought to life, added an extra sprinkle of magic to the experience.
Our students exhibited fantastic behaviour throughout the day, and we hope they had an amazing time and made some unforgettable memories.
